Açaí Flan

Sweet açaí berry notes with hints of chocolate can be tasted in this light and delicious flan that will have your tastebuds craving more.

12-18 servings

Caramelized pan ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water

Flan mixture ingredients:
- 1 can condensed milk
- 4 packs of Amafruits Pure açaí puree (thaw for 30-45 min)
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Caramelized pan preparation:
In a wide-bottomed pan, place the sugar and gently melt it over low heat. When well browned, add the boiling water and stir with a wooden spoon. Simmer until the sugar dissolves. Line a Bundt pan with this sauce and set aside.

Flan mixture preparation:
In a bowl or blender, combine condensed milk, açaí, eggs and mix until homogeneous. Then, pour the flan mixture into your caramelized Bundt pan. Cover the dish with foil and bake in a water bath in the oven at 350ºF for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. After cooling, put inside the refrigerator for about six hours. Unmold and serve.
